20 years ITP GmbH

ITP GmbH celebrates its 20th anniversary on December 14, 2021. Since its foundation in 2001 as a Chemnitz-based company by Dipl.-Ing. Klaus Richter, Prof. Dr. Franz Rudolph, Dipl.-Ing. Richard Heindl and Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen List, a lot has happened.

By successfully working on projects in the field of smart textiles, setting up an interdisciplinary team and establishing numerous contacts with research institutes and companies in a variety of scientific and industrial fields, ITP GmbH has built up a solid reputation both regionally and nationally. In recent years, this reputation has been extended beyond the borders of the DACH region through projects with international partners.

In 2002, the branch office in Weimar was founded to link with Thuringian companies and was transformed into the new headquarters in December 2020. The number of employees increased from 3 in the beginning to 12 in the meantime. In January 2021, Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Huschke took over as the second managing director.

On the occasion of this year’s anniversary, the ITP website appears in a new look. The company logo was also implemented in a new, more modern form without losing its recognition value.
