Through the targeted interaction between design and material selection, textile sensor systems can be appropriately designed and manufactured for the end application.
Our different sensors can detect the following properties, among others:
We can make the function of the textile sensor visible with the help of the corresponding electronics.
With the help of different conductive materials we have the possibility to develop and produce heating systems according to your requirements.
Together we search for the best possible technology (embroidery, weaving, knitting, warp knitting) to make your heating system a reality.
Our in-house electronic engineers will ensure the complete functioning of your heating system with the appropriate electronic control and power supply.
Our textile cooling systems can be used flexibly, e.g. in clothing, vehicles, interiors and for cooling electronic components.
The system is based on the principle of adiabatic cooling and flow-through cooling. With spacer textiles and special coatings, we can customize the cooling function.
Up to now, signals and currents have usually been transmitted using stiff conductors in the form of wires or stranded wires. These are not very suitable for integration in smart textiles, as they are often not comfortable for the user and not robust enough under kinking stresses. In the meantime, we have developed materials that meet the high demands of textile data and energy transmission and are constantly improving them.
Different approaches enable us to produce luminous textiles.
On the one hand, this is done by integrating special fibers into woven, knitted and embroidered fabrics. On the other hand, both two-dimensional and punctual lighting elements can be realized by textile technology.
We would also be happy to develop the appropriate contacting and connection technology for the power supply for your project.
The most problematic area in smart textiles is and remains the interface between textiles and electronics.
In recent years, we have adapted and improved existing processes. We are also working on new techniques for the serial contacting of smart textiles.
With our experience, we also ensure a stable and secure connection between textile materials and electronic components for special applications.
We combine different materials and use different processing methods, such as welding and gluing, to produce air-filled textiles. Due to our own developed equipment we are able to realize a high variance of shapes and constructions of pneumatic textiles in terms of design.
Inflatable textiles are also used in the field of sensor and actuator technology.
Smart textiles are only as smart as their underlying electronics.
We not only design and develop the textiles, but also make the corresponding functionality visible through our development of sensor-related electronics.
We design and construct the components and molds required for the end application in accordance with the task in hand. Among other things, they are used as housings or are required as molds for further component production.
We use our self-constructed molds for encapsulation of electronic components. For this purpose, we use both plastics and silicones, which protect the electronics from environmental influences. Another advantage is that this ensures washability and provides strain relief between the electronics and the textile.
